the first emerging artist program driven by fan data

WHAT IS BIG BREAK?

Bandsintown Big Break is the first and most ambitious data-driven emerging artist program, which identifies artists who have grown rapidly between 100 and 5,000 trackers within a 6 month period. 50 rising stars will be handpicked each year and will be provided with maximum exposure across our network over 12 months, giving fans everything they need to know about the fresh faces turning the industry upside down.

WHY EMERGING ARTISTS?

As the most trusted source for concert discovery (50% of users RSVP to a show they discovered through our recommendations), we're committed to helping emerging artists of all kinds grow their careers and connect with an audience made up entirely of passionate music fans.

We’re super excited to be part of the program. Bandsintown is really valuable in ensuring the group’s fans know about upcoming shows and it’s really awesome they’re supporting emerging artists.
— Peach Pit

WHat does data-driven mean?

With our touring data for more than 450,000 artists and 40 MM live music fans,
we have the inside scoop on who’s racking up trackers at warp speed. We're using these insights to help fans find new acts to obsess over, and with so many emerging artists to choose from, we're letting you know who’s going to be everywhere soon.

How bandsintown
supports big break artists

In 2018, Bandsintown promoted these rising stars to our 40 million live music obsessed users. This promotion will include 12 months of editorial support, in-app features, brand partnerships, touring & showcase opportunities, and social media promotion.
